Dr. Reza Jazayeri is a double board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, with advanced expertise in shoulder, knee, and elbow care. A So Cal native, Dr. 'Jaz' blends his engineering background with elite surgical training from NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and a prestigious sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. He is dedicated to providing each patient with the same level of personalized, high-quality care he would offer to his own family and friends.

"I started out as a mechanical engineering major, and used to race cars for Honda in college. Working with my hands has always been something I enjoyed. After becoming fascinated with Orthopedic Surgery while shadowing my uncles, who were both surgeons, I switched my major to pre-med. I grew up in sunny Southern California and attended medical school in New York. As a kid I was a Kaiser Permanente member, so it’s great to be back here again as a physician. Sports and exercise have always been a big part of my life, which led me into sports medicine, and helps to me to relate to my patients. I like to stay active by surfing, hiking, rock-climbing, weightlifting, yoga and snowboarding. My medical practice is focused on treating each person with the same type of care I would give to my own family and friends."
