A commitment to excellence and advanced knowledge in the field of orthopaedic surgery
Dr. Jazayeri originally studied mechanical engineering and raced cars for Honda during college. His interest in working with his hands and understanding complex mechanical systems naturally led him toward orthopedic surgery after spending time shadowing family members who were surgeons. He attended medical school and completed residency training in New York before returning to Southern California to pursue fellowship training in sports medicine. He remains actively involved in the education and training of future orthopedic surgeons.
Sports and movement have always been central to Dr. Jazayeri’s life. Outside the operating room, he stays active through surfing, hiking, rock climbing, strength training, yoga, snowboarding, and recreational martial arts. This personal connection to training helps him relate closely to athletes, fighters, and active individuals who aim to recover fully and return to the activities they value.
Dr. Jazayeri believes the best outcomes arise from a comprehensive and collaborative approach that integrates prehabilitation, advanced surgical techniques, nutritional and metabolic optimization, targeted rehabilitation and performance training, and long-term joint health strategies.
He works closely with therapists, trainers, and multidisciplinary care teams to guide patients through every phase of recovery and performance.
